Chatham is a seaside town at the southeastern tip of Cape Cod in Massachusetts. Mary’s great grandfather Massey purchased a beach home there that has been the site of family gatherings for generations. Known as much for great whites as its abundance of shipwrecks, Chatham was the place where Julian, Mary, and Poppy took refuge during the pandemic while Mary studied for her Master’s at BU. A D1 swimmer and breaststroke champion, she initiated the Chatham – for its therapeutic benefits as well as a place literally to just chill.
